Shilin family
The Shilin Farming Exhibits Hall, whose name comes from “Shilin” of the inscription “Sakyamuni forest” in the former site “Stone Forest Conference” (Falong Temple), is composed of two courtyards, displaying the folk customs, farming culture and living conditions in the rural areas of northern Henan since modern times. The first one mainly displays the scene of spring ploughing, summer planting, autumn harvest and winter collection in the local countryside in the 1960s and 1970s. The second one is composed of the south house and the north house. The south house focuses on the historical changes of Shilin village and the anecdotes of famous people in the village. The north house reproduces the traditional farmhouse and life style of Shilin village at that time.
