General-Officer Lake, standing in face with the “General-Officer Cypress”, was originally the Middle Shilin Reservoir. During the Northern Henan Campaign and the Shilin Conference, Liu and Deng's officers and soldiers often washed out the dust and exhaustion in the clear lake water, and then embarked on a new journey, and thus was called “General-Officer Lake”. Through the continuous upgrading and transformation in recent years, it has been built into a comprehensive cultural and ecological park themed with red culture, and integrated with recreation, ecological sightseeing and farmhouse picking. It is a bright pearl in the old site of the Stone Forest Conference. The main attractions are Liu and Deng’s statues, landscape pavilion, gallery and trestle, riverside family, home for the educated youth, landscape and country murals, and picking gardens, etc.
