The former site of "Shilin conference" is located in FaLong temple, Xilin village, Shilin Town, Shancheng District, Hebi City. It was first built in the 20th year of Zhenguan of Tang Dynasty (646). It was rebuilt in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 30000 square meters. It consists of four main Tianwang halls, Chinese Buddha halls and Bodhisattva halls from south to north. On June 10, 1947, Liu Bocheng, commander of the Shanxi Hebei Shandong Henan field army, and Deng Xiaoping, political commissar, presided over and held a military conference with an important position in the history of our army in the Buddhist temple of FaLong temple. They made the strategic plan of leaping into the Dabie Mountains and opened the prelude to the strategic attack of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. The former site of Shilin conference is the third batch of classic red tourism scenic spots in China, the Sixth Batch of patriotism education demonstration base in Henan Province, and the education base of CPC History in Henan Province.
